Keep your left hand on WASD and your right hand on J / K / L. Space follows the current play: snap before the play, Burst when eligible to run, resume while paused. Press again for each action; holding it never queues the next one. Enter and Space still activate a focused button. In Last play, Esc goes back; the arrow keys move the focused timeline.
On touch, hold the left stick and tap a receiver or a pass button with your other thumb. After a catch, you control the player who caught it. The cross marks the pass’s fixed intended landing point; the ball does not follow the receiver after release. Hold movement through the catch to keep running. Last play shows the actual ending positions and ball path. Play or scrub the recorded snapshots to inspect the movement before it ended; the clock and current drive stay paused. Back closes the replay; Resume continues the drive. In Practice, Retry this play restores the whole state before that snap, including the clock, downs and score. It undoes the play instead of keeping its rewards. Touch throws travel quicker. Lob throws are slower and higher: they can pass above nearby defenders but give others more time to close. Switch the pass type before throwing, or hold Shift with J / K / L to call one Lob without changing your selection. When running, press X or tap Burst for one short speed boost per play. Hold your movement direction: Burst does not dodge tackles or turn for you. During Burst you change direction more slowly; using it early leaves none for later. It becomes available after a catch, a successful handoff, or when the QB runs past the line. Pausing freezes its timer; Practice retry restores the whole play, including Burst.
Hold a direction as you snap to start moving immediately. Brackets mark one nearby defender while you have the ball as QB, or up to two while running. They show current positions, not guaranteed tackles. Available pass buttons mean a throw is legal, not that the receiver is open.
Sound starts off. Use the speaker button to hear short cues for actual snaps, throws, catches, handoffs, Burst and play endings. Pause stops sounds; Last play is silent. Muting never changes movement or the play.
Get ten yards in four downs. A touchdown adds six points and wins this drive. Incompletions and out-of-bounds stop the clock; field tackles give you two seconds to call the next play before the clock runs. Three timeouts. Each live play has a 25-second limit. Interceptions, safety, failed fourth downs and time expiration end the drive. Practice gives the same defenders more reaction time.
This is an early arcade build with fictional teams. No kicking, penalties, opponent offense or full NFL match. Drives stay in memory; reloading or opening the standalone page starts a new drive. Pause and expanded view keep this drive.
